Dear Friends and Lovers of Touch, Dance, Breath, Yoga, Sound, Song, and Service,
In mid-February, MovingVentures sent a newsletter; you haven't heard a peep from us since. I've come up for air, currently
in South Carolina, loving the moist heat, sunrise at the beach, and scrumptious perfectly ripe tomatoes. I've felt connected to Charleston since my youth; this feeling continues to this day. The low country South certainly feels like a home for my body and soul.
So, I'm writing to invite you to join me in Charleston for a weekend of SpiritDance-SoulSong, with me and Daphne Tse, followed by a three day series of bodywork programs.
Both of these programs take place atThe Sophia Institute:
Your Body is a Musical Instrument
Esalen® Massage & Essential Touch
I'm thrilled to be working with the people at Sophia, and look forward to seeing you in this wonderful city. Charleston, rich in cultural history, is filled with great places to dine, and numerous opportunities to enjoy the beach, the water, visit an old plantation, or stroll through the streets of downtown.
For planning ahead, consider Thanksgiving week at Esalen®, Epiphany at Present Moment in Mexico, and 12 weeks of Somatic Arts in Bali between February and May. Eat, Pray, Love. The Movie is coming out in a few days; remember that Wayan, the traditional Indonesian healer, in the Bali section of the book, was in our first group of Indones
ian women on scholarship in our certification program in Esalen® Massage and Essential Touch.
I close with deep appreciation for the quality of my life, and for having you in it. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Continued Blessings, Ellen

"Views from Along the Middle Way"
One day it's the blue glassy bay, one day the night and it's array of jewels,
visible and invisible. sometimes it's the warm clarity
of a face that finds your face and doesn't turn away.
sometimes a kindness, unexpected, that will radiate farther than you might imagine."
